Pius Church
Pentelic Marble
A church without windows. Franz Füeg's radical design clads the entire structure in thin panels of Pentelic marble—no glass, just stone. Daylight penetrates through the marble itself, filling the interior with a soft, ethereal glow that transforms throughout the day. A space where light and stone become one, creating spirituality through material alone.
